The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in a media conference after the meeting with the ambassadors of the QUINT countries, speaking about the situation in the north of Kosovo.
He said that where there is no order from Serbia for violence, then there is peace in Kosovo.
"Mostly, there was violence where there was no president. We have seen it in those nationalist slogans that read "Ubi-Ubi (kill-kill)" and the "Z" symbol of Russia's war in Ukraine. Where there is no order from Serbia for violence, there is peace in Kosovo. Decisions should be taken by the government of Kosovo, based on the constitution, the laws of the country," said Albin Kurti.
Meanwhile, when asked by journalists, Kurti also spoke about the communication he had with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, while declaring that a meeting with the number two of the European Union, Joseph Borrell, is urgent, preferably this week to resolve the situation.

"I trust Prime Minister Rama that he is good for national minorities, but also based on the Constitution of Albania, but also the political moment we are in. I trust Prime Minister Rama that he is the best and the right one. I have had contact with him, bearing in mind that tomorrow we also have the joint meeting of the government.
I have asked to meet with him this week to show him the urgency and priority I consider this, I have asked to meet with Borrell this week. It is number two of the EU, so I believe that is the address where these meetings take place. Meetings that should take place as soon as possible," Kurti said.
