The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in a press conference, spoke again about Kosovo's relations with the European Union and the United States of America. He said that the reports are excellent while repeating that the chief negotiators are coming to him with the demands of the Serbian side.
" Nevertheless, we will continue communication, cooperation, even more intensively to clarify any misunderstandings. I repeat, we have no other alternative: the European Union and the United States of America. When it comes to European and American mediators, who come to us even with requests from the other side, there are certainly challenges and difficulties ," Kurti said.
Kurti has prepared a 5-point plan to submit to the European Union in order to de-escalate the situation in the north of Kosovo, and normalize relations with Serbia. In an appearance for the media, this morning (June 13), Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that he has requested an urgent meeting with the high representative of the EU, Josep Borrell, to discuss the plan, even if this meeting is possible within this week, but has not yet received an answer from Brussels as to when this meeting might be.
