Two cars with Serbian license plates burn in the north of Kosovo

Two cars with Serbian license plates were burned this morning in northern Mitrovica.

The news was confirmed by Veton Elshani, Deputy Director of Police for the North.

Elshani said that the incident happened around 02:25.

" Today on 01.06.2024 at around 02:25 on st. Kral Petri North Mitrovica, the red Skoda Octavia car with Serbian license plates was completely engulfed in fire, and this fire also engulfed the black Mercedes C class car with Serbian license plates , he said.

Elshani informed that the firemen who located the fire, the fire expert and the guardian investigator came to the scene and notified the guardian prosecutor, who instructed that the case be initiated as 'arson'.
