The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has reacted to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xelal Svečla, who warned that the Serbian President may be arrested if he enters Kosovo without permission.
"In the end we will see who will arrest whom," Vucic said from New York, Serbian media reports.
After the last meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti in Brussels, Vucic warned of the possibility of visiting Graçanica, but, as he said, if he is allowed to enter.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, said that "it is a decision-making matter of the prime minister if there is a request, he gives permission or not to Vučič", but "without permission", he said that "it is known which institutions deal with him ", adding that he would be arrested "without a doubt".
"They mistreated my son, they will arrest me... We will see who wants to arrest whom and how it will look," said Vucic, in response to this statement, continuing with an ironic tone.
"It is a terrible sin when someone wants to go to his sanctuary, to liturgy and talk to his people. This is the real reason for the arrest and speaks to their democratic nature and those who support them.
But well, in the end we will see who will arrest whom. ...our people say - who laughs last, laughs best", said the Serbian president. He also says that he is much more interested in seeing the reactions of the West on this issue," he said.
