The suspect is reportedly the victim's ex-husband.
Kosovo police are searching for the suspect.
" Today, at the Lipjan police station, a case of attempted murder was initiated. Police investigators, in coordination with the Prosecution, have begun investigative and procedural actions, while the injured female person has been sent for medical treatment ," Flora Ahmeti from the Kosovo Police told Radio Free Europe.
The victim's health condition is unknown.
