The FBI has officially sent a special agent and an intelligence analyst to Kosovo to work directly with the Kosovo Police. The move comes as part of a broader plan to deepen inter-agency cooperation and combat organized crime and security threats.
The Director of the Kosovo Police, Colonel Gazmend Hoxha, received in Pristina the FBI Legal Attaché, Brendan Collins, and the US Department of Justice Attaché, Kimberly Riffe. During the meeting, the two American representatives officially introduced the FBI special agent and analyst who will operate alongside Kosovar officials in the field.
According to the official announcement of the Kosovo Police, the purpose of this engagement is to strengthen the strategic partnership and increase investigative capacities, especially in the field of intelligence and criminal prosecution. The parties confirmed their commitment to full cooperation and continuous coordination in protecting the security of citizens.
This development comes at a sensitive time for the region, where security challenges, cyber threats, and criminal group activities require joint interventions and advanced investigative technology.
