US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for Special Missions, Richard Grenell, is calling for the funding of the Hague Special Court to be cut off.
Through a post on X, in another reaction against this court that is unfairly trying former KLA leaders, she said that it is totally corrupt.
He also attacks Special Prosecutor Jack Smith, whom he says ordered the arrest of Hashim Thaçi/
"The Hague is completely corrupt and should be defunded. Jack Smith was one of their prosecutors who arrested the acting president of Kosovo more than five years ago. He is still in prison. The trial has only recently begun ," Grenell wrote.
Two days ago, after the large protest in "Skënderbej" Square in Tirana that gathered thousands of Albanians, Grenell emphasized that The Hague had gotten out of control and that Smith had caused this civic reaction.
Grenell has been one of the most vocal critics of this court.
