The Special Prosecution of Kosovo has announced that it is conducting a police operation in the municipalities of Zubin Potok and Zveçan.
The announcement states that police investigators are implementing a court order to conduct searches in 9 locations, under suspicion of committing several criminal offenses.
It is reported that the criminal offenses suspected are: Endangering United Nations personnel or personnel in relation to them; aggravated murder; and assault on an official person while performing official duty.
NOTICE
The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo is conducting a police operation in the municipalities of Zubin Potok and Zveçan.
Police investigators from the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Serious Crimes are implementing a Court order, at the request of the Special Prosecution Office, to conduct raids in nine (9) locations, under suspicion of committing criminal offenses:
– Endangering United Nations personnel or personnel associated with them;
– Aggravated Murder;
– Attack on an official person while performing official duty.
The operation is also being supported by other relevant units of the Kosovo Police.
The Special Prosecution Office, together with the Kosovo Police, is undertaking all necessary investigative actions, in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code. The public will be informed of the details after the operation is completed.
