Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met with Republican Congressman Mike Lawler, during her participation in the Inter-Parliamentary Security Forum in Washington DC.
While Grenell's criticisms of the Kosovo government have been numerous in recent days, Osmani has stated that US support has been and remains crucial to Kosovo's journey as a free and sovereign state.
President Osmani expressed her appreciation for the US on social media, attaching photos from the event.
" With Republican Congressman Mike Lawler, a friend of Kosovo and an important voice in the US Congress, we discussed the need to further deepen our relations in areas of common interest. US support has been and remains crucial to our journey as a free and sovereign state ," Osmani wrote on Facebook.
