The Basic Court in Ferizaj will today hold the hearing of the verdict announcement against Dardan Krivaqa and Arbë Sejdi, who are accused of the rape and murder of Marigona Osmani.
The hearing will be held at 11:00 a.m. and will be open to the public.
Before the start of the session, at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Ferizaj Court building, a protest organized by the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action "to demand justice for Marigona and maximum punishment for the murderers" will be held.
"The cruel violence that Krivaqa exercised with the help of Sejdi against Marigona until he killed her and her loss makes it impossible for us to forget. We cannot forget that Marigona could be alive today if the state had protected her in time. Outraged with a lot of pain, we gather this Friday and call for justice for Marigona", says the announcement of the Collective for Feminist Thought and Action.
During this week, a court session was held for the rape and murder of Marigona Osmani. The lawyer of the Osmani family, Gazmend Rexhepi, requested life imprisonment for Dardan Krivaqa and Arbë Sejdi.
In this session, the final word was given by the prosecutor of the case, Valdet Avdiu, who made a summary of the past sessions, witnesses and evidence.
After him, the Osmani family's lawyer, Gazmend Rexhepi, had the final word, who said that the accused Dardan Krivaqa and Arbër Sejdiu should be sentenced to life imprisonment.
Rexhepi said that Sejdi's statements do not match the evidence found at the scene where Marigona Osmani was killed and raped.
The lawyer emphasized that in the video recordings provided, the images are terrible.
Sipas aktakuzës, “I pandehuri Dardan Krivaça, me 21 gusht 2021, rreth orës 10:14, në banesën e tij në Ferizaj, pa pëlqim e saj e detyron të ndjerën Marigona Osmani për të kryer marrëdhënie seksual, e cila përcillet me tortura, në atë mënyrë që fillimisht pa dëshirën e saj kryen marrëdhënie seksuale në sallon, pas kryerjes së aktit seksual të njëjtën të zhveshur e dërgon në banjo, nga aty me dhunë e dërgon në dhomën e gjumit, mirëpo me kalimin e kohës për shkak të gjendjes së rëndë shëndetësore si pasojë e dhunës së ushtruar humb aftësinë për të rezistuar, e ku në dy raste në mbrëmje kryen marrëdhënie seksuale pastaj të zhveshur e dërgon në banjë, e ku i vërehen edhe lëndimet në trup”.
