The terrorist attack in Banjska, the appeal leaves the three Serbs arrested after the murder of the policeman Afrim Bunjaku in custody

The Court of Appeal has ordered 2 months of detention for the three Serbs arrested after the September 24 attack in Banjska, Dusan Maksimovic, Vladimir Tolic and Blagoje Spasojevic.

We remind you that on October 20 of this year, the Court of First Instance took the decision to continue the detention.

Regarding this decision, the defense of the suspects had filed a complaint in the second degree, but the Appeal rejected these complaints yesterday and confirmed the decision of the Basic Court.

According to the reasoning of the Court of Appeal, the court of first instance correctly reasoned that the legal conditions for the continuation of the detention measure have been met.

They were arrested as suspects for the terrorist attack in which Kosovo Police Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed and another policeman was injured, on September 24 in Banjska, Zveçani.

The three Serbs are suspected of criminal offenses against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as terrorist offences.
