The US ambassador in Belgrade, Christopher Hill, stated this Tuesday that the proposal for the normalization of relations "has been on the table for some time" and that Belgrade and Pristina should reach an agreement as soon as possible.
" You see, a lot is happening in the world and I think that in terms of dialogue, the agreement should be as Miroslav Lajcak said - as soon as possible. We know that elements of the deal have been on the table. They have to do with the municipalities of the Serbian community, they have to do with the largest extent of internment that Kosovo is looking for ," said Hill, writes Euronews Serbia.
He added that everything is quite clear and that now is the opportunity and time to speed up the negotiation process.
" So, everything is quite clear. These elements have been discussed for a long time, but they were particularly emphasized during the Ohrid meeting. It's really time to step up and move forward, " Hill told reporters.
