The vice-president of the "Serbian List" Milan Radoiçiç has admitted that he was in the village of Banjské in Zveçan on September 24 and that he made all the logistical preparations for the events of that day when the Kosovo police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed.
He made this statement through a letter read by his lawyer Goran Petronijevic to the public in Belgrade.
"I am informing all the vigilant persecutors of the Serbian people, from Kurt to his many foreign helpers, that I have personally made all the logistical preparations for the protection of our people against the invaders and this act of mine has no character or other purpose, and it has nothing to do with my past," the letter says.
The lawyer, after reading Radoicic's letter, said that he did not inform anyone of the Serbian government structures or local political structures in the north of Kosovo about his actions, nor did he accept their help.
"The reason for our return was to encourage the Serbs, the people of that area, to resist the terror of Kurti's regime, protecting our people, who are exposed to that terror every day", he said, referring to the Prime Minister of Kosovo , Albin Kurti.
This is the first time that Radoiçiçi reacts publicly, after the attacks on the Kosovo Police by an armed group in Banjské i Zveçan on September 24, where a police officer was killed.
As a result of clashes between the Police and an armed group in this part of Kosovo in the north inhabited by a majority of Serbs - three terrorists have died.
