Ivan Vejvoda, advisor to the former prime minister of Serbia Žindžić, said that the moment has come for the leaders in Kosovo and Serbia to take responsibility for the situation in the North.

According to him, the international community, given its responsibility as the third full actor in the situation, should have a more powerful approach.

Vejvoda said that the greatest luck of both countries is that they are in Europe, where the European Union exists, which remains a project of peace.

"I think that the red lights are on, all the alarms are on, and I think that the international community, as the English expression puts it nicely, "has another fish to fry", the Russia-Ukraine war, the tensions that are present between the States United States and China. We are a very small part of the world. We are, as I said, many 16 million people. We want to be like Europe and enter Europe. We must hold and take responsibility, first the leaders, in the full sense of the word. Then the international community, given its responsibility as the third full actor in the situation, I think should have a more powerful approach. As I said, the fact that we had a meeting between President Vucic and Vjosa Osman, no matter how short or harsh it was, it was important that they carried it out. This is the way forward. This cannot be avoided. We are lucky to be in Europe, where the European Union exists, which remains a project of peace. This is exactly why we want to enter, because being a member, there is some security for peace and of course, for rights and the rule of lawt", said the Serbian analyst for the Balkan Talks show.
