The Serbian police arrested Jetmir Ismaili, director of the House of Culture in Bujanoc, last night at his home in Nesalca. He allowed the screening of a film from Kosovo financed by the Government of Kosovo and the Albanian National Council in the Valley.
In relation to the event, Reactions from the NKSH and the Presidency of Kosovo have reacted.
Nevzad Lutfiu, chairman of the Albanian National Council in the Presheva Valley, reacted to this action of the Serbian state, according to whom, currently, the arrested Ismaili is being held at the police station in Bujanoc.
" According to the family members, he was taken to the police station to be interviewed about the screening of a short film, which was supported by the Government of Kosovo through the Albanian National Council and which the director of the House of Culture in Bujanoc, gave permission to his promotion will take place tomorrow, at the House of Culture in Bujanoc ", declared Lutfiu with a post on his Facebook account.
He said that this pressure and these methods against the Albanians are proving that Serbia does not want peace and the future in the Balkans.
According to the chief of staff of the Presidency of Kosovo, Blerim Vela, the arrest was made after they showed a show financed by the institutions of Kosovo at the House of Culture in Bujanoc.
" The Serbian police have arrested the director of the House of Culture in the municipality of Bujanovac, Jetmir Ismail, a local Albanian, after they staged a theatrical performance funded by Kosovo institutions. Repression by the Vucic regime. Mr. Ismaili should be released immediately ," Vela wrote.
Meanwhile, Ardita Sinani, adviser to the Prime Minister of Kosovo and former mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, also reacted.
The same writes that Ismaili and Veseli were taken from their homes.
