The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has reacted after the murder of the policeman in the north of Kosovo.
Konjufca says that this is a direct attack on the constitutional order of Kosovo, while calling on the US and the EU to condemn the aggression. He calls the attack terrorist and criminal by criminal structures directed by Serbia.
"I strongly condemn the terrorist and criminal attack by the criminal structures directed by Serbia, from which one policeman was killed and another was injured in the early hours of the morning in the north of Kosovo.
This is a direct attack on the constitutional order, on our actions for law and order and an infringement on the sovereignty and security of our country. Therefore, we strongly ask the international factor, especially the EU and the USA, to condemn Serbia for this open aggression against Kosovo.
On behalf of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and on my own behalf, I express my sincerest condolences to the family of the murdered policeman, while the wounded policeman wishes for a speedy recovery. The authors of this crime should be urgently brought to justice, meanwhile I invite the justice institutions to act immediately", writes the president of the Kosovo Assembly.
