The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has reacted after today's attack by masked criminal groups against the journalists of the Kosovar media, once again calling on the international factor to increase the pressure on Serbia.

Konjufca emphasized that Serbia wants at all costs to escalate and destabilize the security situation in Kosovo, as he added that Kosovo will not tolerate such provocations, but neither should the international factor allow such interference by Serbia to go unpunished. in the stability and sovereignty of Kosovo.
" Since the obstruction of the legal right of the elected mayors of municipalities to exercise their duties in municipal institutions through violent attacks and firearms against the Kosovo police, KFOR soldiers, attacks on journalists and the kidnapping of three policemen borders by the Serbian army inside the territory of Kosovo, Serbia is proving that it definitely wants tension and conflict in Kosovo, exactly the opposite of what the international community is looking for. I strongly condemn this attack on journalists and demand that the criminals be brought to justice. We call once again on the international factor to increase the pressure on Serbia, as the cause of these tensions, because there can be no peace and stability if the gangs continue to exert violence and terror on the population of these municipalities, journalists and law enforcement. What good neighborliness and normalization of relations between the two countries can be claimed if the European Union tolerates such hostile behavior of Serbia towards Kosovo. If the EU tolerates this continuous aggression of Serbia, then eventually the dialogue is losing its meaning ", he wrote.
