The Kosovo Police has seized in the north of Mitrovica, dangerous tools that could be used for attacks on the police, endangering the lives of officers and citizens.
The Kosovo police seized dangerous tools this morning and announced that they were found in the Bosnian neighborhood in front of the technical high school, which could endanger the lives of citizens.
" Competent police units, based on relevant information received by citizens, have undertaken immediate investigative and operative actions in the Bosnian neighborhood in the north of Mitrovica, have carried out a control operation and found there: improvised barbed wire (hedgehogs), smoke bombs, ammunition and a uniform" , says the police announcement.
The police emphasize that the ammunition and bombs found today are similar to those used by the terrorist group in Banjska in September of this year.
"Operational police actions in the field are still continuing with the aim of identifying other suspected vehicles in order to prevent them from endangering citizens or to prevent any attack on the Kosovo Police who are working to maintain order and guarantee security" , the announcement also states.
