Journalist Elton Tozaj spoke about a phone conversation he had with Naim Murseli a week before Liridona's murder.
According to him, Nimi has this phone number in his phone book so that he and several other people can meet with Liridona. Tozaj says that Murseli may have wanted to use this phone call as an alibi.
"What he did to me later made me think, did he want to make some kind of alibi? He contacted almost everyone he knew in Tirana.
"He contacted me, my colleague, and told us all that in a week I will be in Tirana and I really want to meet and have dinner, I will be with Liridona. We have all been waiting to meet him. It never occurred to us that he had these problems, or this double life. He lives a wild life, truly wild with that luxury that you could not imagine for 15 years," he told Euronews Albania.
