The Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina has filed an indictment against four people for the murder of 30-year-old Liridona Ademaj, committed on November 29, 2023.
According to this prosecution, Naim Murseli, Kushtrim Kokalla and Granit Plava are directly involved in the murder of Liridona Ademaj, adding that an indictment has also been filed against a fourth defendant, whose identity was not disclosed due to the investigation, but who is believed to have been indirectly involved in the murder.
Regarding Murseli's husband, the Prosecutor has described him as the planner of the murder.
Journalist Anduena Llabani on "360 Degrees" on ABC News spoke about the serious event that shocked the entire public opinion, focusing on the indictment filed by the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina.
"The victim's family has learned the motive for the murder, which was related not only to marital problems but also financial ones. The whole problem, the people involved, the whole plan, aimed to become a politician in Kosovo. The fact that he hoped to take all the wealth that the deceased had, as it was known that Liridona had a very large fortune in Sweden and had businesses and money in banks. Let's not forget that from 2010 until now, more than 60 women have been killed by their husbands in Kosovo," she said.
Psychologist Aurela Agalliu said: "To murder a mother of children, to be an accomplice, there is a profound lack of the basic principles of being human. These are shocking cases. These cases are rare. Such cases have shown us that for many years these women have not known what they have lived for. I see it as an outpouring of an impulse of hatred towards their spouse. His enrichment at the expense of the lives of the children is what impresses me the most.
