The protest called today in the north of Kosovo continues without incident. Dozens of Serbian citizens have gathered in front of the municipal headquarters in Zveçan and Leposavic.
So far no incidents have been reported and the situation is calm. So Kosovo Police and KFOR soldiers are monitoring the situation.
The mayor of the municipality of Zubin Potok, Izmir Zeqiri is continuing his work from another place, not from the municipal building where there are Serbian protesters like in the past days.
It is known that Zeqiri is working from the building of the Community Office in the village of Çaber of this municipality.
He said that the security situation in the municipality is currently being assessed to decide whether to go to the building or not.
The leaders of the 27 countries of the European Union and 20 other European countries are meeting today in Chisinau, Moldova, to discuss a series of issues, among them the tensions in the north of Kosovo.
The head of the EU's foreign policy, Josep Borrell, is expected to meet there with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic. Yesterday Borrell met the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in Bratislava.
