Von der Leyen will today visit Kosovo, where he will meet with President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

She met yesterday in Skopje with the Speaker of the Assembly of North Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi. The latter in a post on Facebook gave details of the talks with Von der Leyen.

"In the working meeting with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, we talked about the political responsibility of all parties in approving the amendment of the Constitution and the reform processes in the direction of our membership in the European Union", wrote Xhaferi.

In addition to Xhafer, the head of the European Commission was also received by President Stevo Pendarovski at the meeting yesterday.

"With the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, we discussed the next stages of the negotiations after the end of the review process and the dynamics of the implementation of the reforms. Thank you for the support and commitment from the EU for our European integrations", wrote Pendarovski in a post on Facebook.

After Pristina, Von der Leyen will continue his visit to Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit to the capitals of the Western Balkans, the president of the European Commission will present the Investment Framework of the Western Balkans, which is a joint initiative of the European Union, financial institutions and donors, aimed at the socio-economic development and the European perspective of the countries. of the Western Balkans.

The investment package planned by the Union for the advancement of the region amounts to 6 billion euros - 2.1 billion euros in grants and 4 billion euros in loans, but this aid to the region will be conditioned by the degree of reforms implemented in each of the countries separately.
