Analyst Tom Gashi has commented on the Kurti-Vucic meeting in Brussels on the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

In an interview for "Euronews Albania", he said that Vucic was found unprepared as he thought it would be Albin Kurti who would reject the EU's proposal.

According to him, the opposite happened, as Kurti accepted the international proposal, while Vucic presented himself as he really is, as a blocker of the peace agreement after he refused.

"It was actually an EU offer to normalize relations with Serbia and Kosovo as two independent states. It was a generous offer for both countries and what Vučić could not have expected, as president of Serbia, is that Albin Kurti was willing to sign it. Vucic was caught off guard as he thought that Albin Kurti would not make this signing. But the situation is different and the international community is seeing which country is creating problems by threatening incidents that could push us into bigger incidents, as we saw on September 24", said Gashi .
