Prime Minister Albin Kurti, after the meeting of the Security Council, said that yesterday's action by Serbia was aggressive and that the three operatives were kidnapped inside the territory of Kosovo.
" We just finished the meeting of the Security Council due to the aggression of Serbia that kidnapped three police officers inside the territory of our country. Institutions gave their assessment and proposals. Aggression against our state, revenge against the police for the arrests. For these reasons, they have increased the security level. Security measures have been tightened on the border with Serbia. Increased border controls, including traffic stops. The goal is safety and safety begins with limits. We demand the immediate release of the police officers. We ask the international factors to put pressure on Serbia, what impresses is the silence of the internationals, " Albin Kurti said after the meeting of the Security Council.
Three Kosovo operatives were kidnapped by Serbian forces in the north. Kosovo has called for their immediate release, but according to Serbia, they were arrested after they were found patrolling 1.8 km from the border with the north. However, Kosovo says that they were arrested within its territory.
