The Kurti-Vucic clash at the UN, the American professor: Kosovo scored an own
Edward Joseph

The American professor of John Hopkins University, Edward Jospeh, in a long article on his profile in "X" analyzed the session called by Serbia in the Security Council.

Jospeh has been critical of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, saying that thanks to another uncoordinated action, he is being forced to go to the Security Council, instead of international pressure focusing on Belgrade and on the vote that took place in the European Parliament for the Serbian elections. which are supposed to be complete frauds.

Jopseh says that Vucic, instead of being in Serbia to explain to his citizens why their country is at risk of cutting off EU funds due to election irregularities, was given the opportunity to play the role of defender. large number of Kosovo Serbs, with the help of Russia and China, these countries that continue to isolate Kosovo.

Joseph describes the Security Council session as a "completely unnecessary circus".

Furthermore, the American professor said that the session in the Security Council should mark a turning point in the politics of Kosovo.

"Now is the time to change course," says Joseph.

Regarding the issue of the dinar, the American professor says that Prime Minister Albin Kurti should have produced a plan and not have a ban, since it is a complex issue.

Joseph says that in very simple terms "Kosovo Serbs who depend on transactions should not be harmed".

Edward Jospeh says the only way to recover from an own goal is to score at the other goal.

The American professor says that Kurti can do this by moving forward with the implementation of the decision on the Monastery of Deçan and by working seriously with the US Embassy for the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement.

“In short, show everyone the difference between how a democracy treats its minority citizens – and an autocracy desperate to cling to power. Hit the ball forward, Albin, not back," concludes Edward Joseph.
