In the case of Liridona Ademaj's murder, her husband, Naim Murseli, is also a defendant.
Murseli was arrested on 01.12.2023, two days after the murder of Liridona. The prosecution raised suspicions against Murseli that he had ordered the murder of his wife.
On the other hand, in addition to Murseli, Granit Plava, who is suspected of being the executioner, and Kushtrim Kokalla, who is suspected of being the person who put Naim Murseli and Granit Plava in contact, are also arrested.
All three suspects are from Gjakova. The Prosecution file mentions the roles of the three suspects in the murder of Liridona Ademaj on 29.11.2023.
Initially, the case was reported as robbery resulting in murder, while later the offense was reclassified as aggravated murder, after the Prosecutor's Office said that the event was staged.
Chief Prosecutor Gashi that the discovery of the case of Liridona Ademaj has been extremely successful.
"For 24 hours both the Prosecutor's Office and the Police have discovered the situation" - said Gashi.
