The abduction of three Kosovo police by the Serbian 'Cobra' forces has received the attention of foreign media.

" Three Kosovo policemen were kidnapped by Serbian forces, but officials from Kosovo and Serbia gave different locations for the arrest, accusing each other of illegal border crossing. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti requested the release of the three officers. He said that they were arrested 300 meters inside the territory of Kosovo, near the border with Serbia.
"The entry of Serbian forces into the territory of Kosovo is aggression and aims at escalation and destabilization," Kurti wrote on his Facebook page.
But Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the three were arrested "up to 1.8 kilometers inside Serbian territory. He also accused Kurti of inciting conflicts.
"We are at a crossroads, we don't know if we will have peace or not. If there is a man in the Balkans who wants to instigate conflicts at any cost, he is Albin Kurti," said Vucic.
He rejected Kurti's accusations that the Serbian police have entered Kosovo, saying: "They haven't even set foot there."
Vucic said Belgrade was willing to hand over all evidence and accept an international investigation into the arrests, and that it could move some of its troops currently stationed about five km (3.1 miles) from the border to garrisons inside Serbia to ease tensions. .
"It will be difficult to get back to normal," he said.
Kosovo banned all vehicles with Serbian license plates from entering its territory in response to the arrests, an interior ministry official told Reuters.
The bans could further fuel tensions in the Serb-majority north of Kosovo, which borders Serbia and has been embroiled in violent clashes in recent weeks ."
