The Serbs have warned of the blocking of the border points starting today at 18:00. However, currently the situation is calm and vehicles are continuing to circulate.
At the border point in Merdar, one of the points that connects Kosovo with Serbia, the situation is calm. At this point there is very little vehicular traffic, entering and exiting the border. Protesters are still not seen according to the warnings of Serbian citizens about the blocking of border points.
Meanwhile, even at the border point in Jarinje, there is still movement of vehicles at these moments, although the flow of movement is smaller.
Members of KFOR and EULEX were seen near the border point in Jarina. They are observing the situation on the ground while the blockade of this point has been announced, along with all other border points.
The head of the so-called association of citizens of Mitrovica District for Kosovo, Rasha Rojevic, has announced that the blockade will be organized by local associations of citizens from Kosovo, but there is still no movement.
" The blockade will start at 18:00 and will last until the withdrawal of the Kosovo police forces from the north of Kosovo. We also demand that KFOR take control of the north of Kosovo", said Rojevic.
