The security expert, Bedri Elezi, has spoken about the positions of the Serbian List for not voting for the dismissal of the Albanian presidents in the north. He has warned that this party is preparing for the boycott of the upcoming elections in that part of Kosovo.
According to him, the north may soon be disturbed again by criminal gangs. Elezi declares that the Serbs are not ready for cooperation until the Association is established.
"These actions are clear indicators that the Serbs are preparing to boycott the elections in the north that are planned to be held. And with these actions, they are preparing for an opportunity to tense the security situation. The Serbs are not ready for any cooperation or action until the Association is established. We will have preparations for the organization of protests on the issue of the rights of the Serbs", said Elezi.
Four members of the Municipal Electoral Commission from the Serbian List responded positively to the call for boycott by resigning.
According to the guidelines, approved in September of last year, for this vote to be successful, 50 percent, plus one vote of citizens with the right to vote, is needed.
