"Serbia and Kosovo are wasting time", the former US official raises the alarm: The situation is more difficult than 10 years ago!

The former international civilian representative for Kosovo and the former EU special representative, Pieter Feith, said that Serbia and Kosovo are wasting time, referring here to the current situation which is tense.

According to him, the tensions in the north have made the current situation more difficult than 10 years ago.

"The worst thing that can happen now, from my point of view, because we have lost precious time, is that both Kosovo and Serbia will not be ready to join the EU any time soon, and I think that the situation now it is more serious and many times more dangerous than it was then because we do not know if there are other criminal elements operating in the north of Kosovo and we do not know if they act alone, autonomously without the consensus of the Belgrade government, or if these elements have the active support of the Serbian authorities ," Feith told Euronews.
