"Serbia is not respecting the agreements", Kurti appeals to the EU:

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti continues to insist that the European Union should remove the measures it has imposed on Pristina, considering that the latter is taking steps to reduce tensions in the north. The head of the government of Kosovo says that in fact Serbia is the one that is not respecting the agreements that have been agreed upon.

In an interview for Tetova's local television, "TV Koha", Kurti said that the measures imposed were rational and unfair, adding that Kosovo has been principled and not stubborn in managing situations in the country.

" I don't know when they will withdraw, I believe they should be withdrawn as soon as possible because Kosovo is constructive, the government of Kosovo has been creative with ideas and committed to dialogue, which has resulted in the basic agreement. On February 27, we in Brussels implemented the basic agreement, which is de facto mutual recognition. In the Ohrid agreement, we also attached a 12-point implementation annex, but it is Belgrade that violated this. We said let's implement it fully and unconditionally ", he said.

Kurti was also asked about his relations with Edi Rama and the leader of the Albanians in Macedonia, Ali Ahmeti. Kurti said that the relations are good and correct, but expressed his regret for the cancellation of the meeting between the two Albanian-Kosovo governments that was scheduled to be held on June 14.

" We have correct reports, we have good reports, it is a matter of responsibilities. This does not mean that we are not criticized. I believe that criticism is part of democracy and it should be constructive. It is a pity that on June 14 the meeting of the two governments, which was prepared months ago, was not held, but we did not cancel it, on the contrary, we made all the preparations. It is good not to wait for the next meeting to sign those agreements, which was finally made by official Tirana, in addition to Pristina ", Kurti said.

Asked if his visits to the Municipality of Tetova and Çairi in North Macedonia were some secret political message, Kurti said that he only went because he was invited and not for anything else.
