The Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, gave an interview to the Russian medium "RIA Novosti", where he said that the escalation of the situation in Kosovo could happen at any moment.
He made these comments from St. Petersburg, Russia, as he said that Serbia will not sit idly by if there is violence against Serbs in Kosovo.
"The situation in the southern Serbian province can escalate at any moment. When violence is perpetrated against Serbs, it is impossible to expect everyone, especially Serbia, to stand by and watch. Of course, we will not do it", declared the senior Serbian official.
Vulin emphasized that the fight for the rights of Serbs in Kosovo is part of Serbia's national strategy.
"Serbia's colleagues from BRICS, the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu, the foreign ministers of China, Brazil, South Africa, Azerbaijan, show strong sympathy and support for Serbia and deeply understand what our country is fighting for ", Vulin said.
