The Democratic League of Kosovo has initiated the establishment of a Parliamentary Commission to investigate the procedures for the supply and management of state reserves, after the arrest of two officials and a businessman for the supply of state reserves in 2022.
Through an announcement on Facebook, the head of the LDK Parliamentary Group, Arben Gashi, has announced that the signatures for the establishment of this commission have been submitted.
"What has been done with the state reserves? Who, when, where, why and how are involved in these processes and what is the epilogue of their actions? Were the contracts in accordance with the law and did the parties fulfill their obligations under those contracts? It is high time for everyone to surrender the facts and surrender to the necessary truth. The state and society need to know the truth!" he wrote.
We remind you that two officials of the Ministry of Industry and a businessman were arrested in mid-August under suspicion of fraud with the purchase of state reserves. Initially, they were assigned the measure of detention, while later the Appeal accepted their appeals and released them to defend themselves at liberty. Since the arrest, the opposition has continuously demanded the removal of Minister Rozeta Hajdari.
