The Minister of Internal Affairs in Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, said on Thursday that after the refusals to participate in protests and organizations led by the Serbian List, the protesters are being forced to sign their participation in the lists.
He stated that Kosovo Serbs are constantly under pressure and threats to perform actions against their will.
" After being conditioned to participate in protests and organizations led by Lista Serbe, the protesters today are being forced to sign their participation in the protest in the lists. Obviously, this is a means of taking subsequent actions against those who were not present at the protest ," he said.
" This may mean threats and physical violence against them and their family members, dismissal from work as well as damage to the property of those persons ", Sveçla wrote on his Facebook account.
The Minister stated that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and all security institutions remain engaged and committed to the maximum in the service of all citizens of the country without distinction.
" We strongly condemn the ongoing actions of the Serbian List and the criminal gangs directed by them, at the behest of Belgrade. These tactics must be stopped so that the Serbian citizens of Kosovo can live without pressure and threats ", he concluded.
