Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has responded harshly to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg after the latter said that Serbia should not deploy an army on the border with Kosovo.
Vucic responded to his statement by saying that "where we place our army is our business".
"We discussed all important issues for more than an hour and a half, and cooperation with NATO and KFOR is important for us, with the hope that we will have security in Kosovo. Serbs have been threatened and attacked, Albanians have never been attacked. To be precise, only Serbs have been attacked since 2001 and especially when Kurti was in power.
Where we place our army is our business. Since I know that the West is only interested in Banjska and Zvecan, I have to say that we have a different view of what happened, but we understand the demands of NATO and the West," said Vucic .
We recall that NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, said today that the gathering of Serbian army forces near the border with Kosovo does not help calm the tense situation between the two countries.
