The envoy of the European Union for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, and the American envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, have started the meeting with the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani regarding the tensions in the north of the country.
After Osmani, Lajçak and Escobar are expected to meet during the day with representatives of the parties in Kosovo, including the Serbian List.
The day before, Escobar and Lajçak met with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, to whom they asked him to calm down the situation in the north, hold new elections and return to the Brussels dialogue.
Later in the day, Escobar and Lajcak will travel to Belgrade, where, according to reports, at 18:30 they will meet with the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
