
The Basic Court in Ferizaj today sentenced Dardan Krivaqa to life imprisonment for the murder of 18-year-old Marigona Osmani.
Meanwhile, Arbër Sejdiu is sentenced to 15 years in prison.
According to the indictment, it is described that between 10:56 a.m. and 2:43 p.m., the first defendant took a stick, and together with the second defendant entered the room and began to beat the deceased in the parts different parts of the body causing great physical and mental pain.
From the blows, Marigona suffered multiple injuries, where death was directly caused by mechanical asphyxia, as well as hemorrhagic and traumatic shock, which are the result of external bleeding and internal bleeding, from the fracture of the lower jaw bone, broken ribs , left clavicle, neck rings, epidural and subdural bleeding in the back of the cerebrum and cerebellum, partial rupture of the spinal cord.
They have committed the criminal offense of "Aggravated murder".
Marigona Osmani was killed on August 22, 2021 in the apartment of the main accused, Dardan Krivaqa, in the city of Ferizaj.
Krivaqa and Sejdiu have been accused of a number of criminal offences, including rape, aiding in the commission of rape, as well as aggravated murder in complicity.
The indictment says that Sejdiu had intentionally helped Krivaqa in committing the crime of rape.
Both are also accused of trying to hide the traces of the crime, trying to hide the footage of the security cameras.
In the last court session for this case, prosecutor Valdet Avdiu demanded that Krivaqa and Sejdiu be punished according to the law.
During this hearing held on August 1, prosecutor Avdiu said that "from all the evidence, the witnesses heard and the video recordings, it has been proven that the accused have committed the criminal offense as in the indictment".
Meanwhile, the lawyer of Marigona Osmani's family, Gazmend Rexhepi, asked for maximum punishment for the accused.
