The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, has reacted after the conclusion of the first round of local elections in Kosovo. He described the result as a victory for the citizens and for democracy itself.
Krasniqi expressed gratitude for every vote given in support of PDK, calling this political force the best model of local governance in the country.
"Thank you Kosovo! Today, citizens, democracy and faith in the future won. Thank you for every vote, across the country, with which citizens decided on the best model of local government, that of the Democratic Party of Kosovo ," he wrote on social media.
He added that PDK will continue working with full dedication in the municipalities where the run-off will take place, with the aim of confirming these victories in the second round.
