Krisa Caushi was one of the 3 moderators of the "62nd Song Festival at RTSH". The presenter of this year's Festival received more criticism for dressing like a chocolate bar and the question of 'where did she come from', than what she said was heard.
Invited to "Living Room", Krisa shared the emotions of the moment when she was offered to be the moderator of the festival.
Krisa Çaushi: To be honest, I did not expect this year 2023, especially during the last months because there has been a radical change in my career as well. I was told that it was your year, the year of the goat, but I didn't believe it until the moment things happened. I had a 360 degree change in my professional aspect. I worked as a journalist on the web and from the web I went directly to television. After I opened my program I was offered to present the song festival.
Brunilda Lahe: How did you find yourself, how did the proposal to present the Song Festival come about?
Krisa: I was at Radio Television Albanian, where I also work, and director Alfred Peza and artistic director Bojken Lako called me to the courtyard of Radio Television Albanian, at that moment I was thinking, what is he calling me for? What happened? What did I do wrong? And I just come there and he says: Have you ever been to China? And I stayed at that moment because I didn't understand what it was for and he told me to get ready that you will be one of the presenters of the festival and I didn't expect it. I didn't think twice to tell the truth because I had that confidence in myself that I could do it.
Brunilda Lahe: So you went further than China?
Krisa Caushi: I went even further than in China. I can tell you that we went off the globe.
