The grand American Music Awards 2026 ceremony brought a spectacular night to Las Vegas, where the biggest stars of world music were honored with the industry's most prestigious awards.
The evening took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and was moderated by Queen Latifah.
The absolute winner of the night was BTS, who took home the top prize for “Artist of the Year,” beating out names like Taylor Swift, SZA, and Bruno Mars. BTS’s victory once again confirmed the group’s global influence and the power of the “ARMY” fandom.
Another name that stood out during the ceremony was KATSEYE, who won the " New Artist of the Year" award and also triumphed in the "Best Video" category with the song "Gnarly".
Among the main winners was Karol G, who was honored with the "International Artist Award of Excellence", one of the most prestigious awards of the evening.
Meanwhile, Shakira won the award for "Tour of the Year" with "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour", while Tyla triumphed with "Social Song of the Year" thanks to the hit "CHANEL".
In the K-Pop category, BTS continued their dominance by winning several important awards, facing artists such as BLACKPINK, aespa, and Stray Kids.
The ceremony also brought special recognition to Darius Rucker and Billy Idol for their long-standing contributions to the music industry.
