Renowned Albanian actor Amos Zaharia has spoken openly on moderator Grida Duma 's podcast , where he has brought back to attention one of the most commented events of his personal life: the sensational clash between his sister, actress Elia Zaharia, and Prince Leka.
During the interview, Zaharia revealed that at the moment he was contacted about the event , he was in Pristina, engaged in filming and completely disconnected from any information about what was happening in Tirana.
"I was in Pristina shooting a movie, even with a Hollywood actor. I was totally focused on work and had no idea what had happened," he said.
According to him, it all started with a call from an unknown number, where he was asked directly about the situation between his sister and Prince Leka.
"They say to me, 'What do you think about what happened?' I didn't know anything. I hung up the phone and immediately called my mom," the actor confessed .
Zaharia added that the family did not have complete information at that moment, and the situation initially seemed like a misunderstanding or even a "hidden camera . "
"Even my mother thought it might be a joke. Later we realized that everything was true," he said.
Speaking about how the event was publicly experienced, Zaharia emphasized that he did not feel the need for an aggressive reaction, despite possible expectations from public opinion.
"I don't believe that aggression would have solved anything. These are personal issues that are not resolved with tension," he said.
Asked by Grida Duma if at any point aggression would be justified, the actor made a clear distinction between human conflict and family protection.
"Force should only be used when the family is truly in danger. Only then," he declared.
