Soccer star Lionel Messi appears to have already found a luxury new home ahead of his move to Inter Miami.
The soccer icon, who inspired Argentina to a World Cup victory over France last December, has opted to join the MLS side this summer, ending his two-year stint with Paris Saint-Germain.
The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner has reportedly rejected a return to the Nou Camp and the riches of Saudi Arabia to join Inter Miami's revolution.
According to The Times, joining David Beckham's team will make Messi the highest-paid player in MLS history.
“I would like to play in the United States and experience life and the league there, but eventually return to Barcelona in some capacity. I'm not thinking too far ahead in the short term and I just want to see how the season ends," he previously stated.
According to "Cadena Ser", Messi made his first move towards Miami by purchasing a luxury apartment in the city.
An apartment worth at least 9 million euros is said to have been purchased by the Argentine in 2021.
