The White House is celebrating Valentine's Day with funny postcards that convey various diplomatic allusions, as well as "stings" about domestic US politics.

In a post on X, the White House released a postcard featuring an image from the arrest of former Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who was blindfolded. "You stole my heart," the postcard's caption reads.

On another postcard, a map showing Greenland is placed in the shape of a heart and it is written: "the time has come to determine the nature of our free relationship (situation)".

Meanwhile, another postcard features a photo of Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen with alleged gang member Kilmar Ambrogo Garcia. "My love for you is as strong as Democrats love illegal immigrants. I would fly 1,537 miles to have a drink with you," the postcard reads.

Finally, Trump appears on one of the postcards showing the signing of an executive order regarding the restriction of social benefits. The envelope he is holding shows the order number and on the right it says: "Be my Valentine."

According to the New York Post, the White House's funny comments on social media are usually created by US President Donald Trump himself, or White House deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino and deputy communications director Kaylan Dore.
