A jet worth nearly 17 million euros promises to revolutionize private flying. It's called the Phantom 3500, and instead of traditional windows, it will have high-definition screens that display real-time images of the outside world.
Otto Aerospace is developing it, aiming for its takeoff in 2027, with entry into service planned for 2030. The elimination of windows reduces weight and improves aerodynamics thanks to an ultra-sleek airframe optimized for laminar flow.
The result? A 60% reduction in fuel consumption and an increase in flight range. Inside, the cabin reaches two meters in height and can comfortably accommodate nine passengers. The technology is not just about comfort: the cabin will be equipped with next-generation systems designed to offer greater precision and safety during flight.
"Passengers will enjoy a spectacular view of the sky and landscape, combining visual experience and sustainability," the company emphasizes.
The project has already found strong support. Private jet company FlexJet has ordered 300 Phantom 3500s, betting on a more efficient and less polluting future. The first test flights are planned for 2027, while certification and commercial service will arrive by 2030.
