
A 45-year-old rapper died while performing on stage.
45-year-old Big Pokey collapsed while singing at a Beaumont bar on Saturday night.
In the video, the rapper is seen breathing hard while singing and a few seconds later collapses.
Rescuers rushed to the scene and performed CPR as the rapper was transported to a nearby hospital.
However, as Huston's authorities announced, the rapper breathed his last a little later.
At the moment, the cause of death of the 45-year-old rapper is not known.
Big Pokey, real name Milton Powell, was famous in the Houston rap scene starting his career in 1999 with the album "The Hardest Pit in the Litter".
His last record, in 2021, was titled "Sensei".
"It is with great sadness that I announce that our beloved Milton 'Big Pokey' Powell passed away on June 18th. His family and friends loved him. Big Pokey will forever be 'The Hardest Pit in the Litter!'" said the rapper's agent.
