Model Emina Cunmulaj has shared a candid account of the birth of her son, revealing that his pregnancy was not ordinary, but achieved through the IVF (in vitro fertilization) process.
Emina said she had no health problems giving birth to her two daughters, but she had a special desire for her third child: a boy. She admitted that her husband shared the same opinion, although he was hesitant at first.
"I felt that the third one would also be a girl and I told my husband to do IVF to choose the gender. At first he said he didn't know... but one night he decided: we'll try. We left it in God's hands. If it was destined, it would happen," Emina said.
She confessed that IVF was not an easy journey. The process of needles and treatments made her feel nervous and mentally exhausted. However, the result was successful: out of the 5 embryos created, 3 were boys and 2 were girls, but only one came out healthy, their long-awaited son.
"It was very difficult, but we did it. And today we have our son," she concluded.
“The boy was the third birth and it was not a normal pregnancy. We had the boy through IVF. I had no problems before, but I felt that the third would also be a girl. I told my husband to do IVF so we could choose the gender. At first he was unsure and said: 'I don't know...'. But I wanted a boy and he wanted a boy too. One night he said to me: 'We'll try'. We left it in God's hands – if it was meant to be, it would happen. IVF was very difficult, especially the injections, which I couldn't stand. I got nervous, but in the end we won: out of 5 embryos, 3 were boys and 2 were girls. Only one came out healthy and that was our son.”
