Fedez has written an autobiography "L'acqua è più profonda di come sembra da sopra", (The water is deeper than it seems from above) in which he recounts the most intimate and complex events of his life: losing his virginity to a prostitute, marriage and separation with Chiara Ferragni, the Pandoro scandal, Angelica Montini, cancer and rebirth.
"We never really talked about why it ended. From her perspective, I'm the bad guy. And I can't blame her completely," the rapper writes about the reasons that ended their six-year marriage, from which they have two children. According to him, it was destined to end, due to deep changes:
"We were two parallel universes, too far apart to be together. Little by little, the cracks turned into gaps."
Fedez says he had become part of a system that did not represent him and was hanging out with people who did not fit in with him.
Then, he returns to a chapter of his life with Angelica Montini, the woman who briefly entered his life, shortly before he married the famous blogger.
"With Chiara I wanted to build, with Angelica I wanted to dream," he says, making it clear that they were two completely different things: "The feeling for Chiara was real, with plans and everyday life. For Angelica it was more instinctive, an escape, something that holds you and makes you lose your balance."
The couple's crisis lasted for a long time, with "numerous arguments" leading to a separation and then a divorce in the summer of this year. They had been living apart for a long time and Fedez had started a new relationship with Giulia Honegger, but he does not deny the past.
"With Chiara, I shared my fears, weaknesses, and dreams. She was the person who knew me most deeply. I found peace in her when everything else was crumbling."
He adds that their relationship has left an indelible mark on him: "We were two imperfect pieces of a complex formation, but somehow, we fit together. Maybe we were what the public wanted to see, but there was so much more inside."
Even though he is moving forward with maturity today, he still maintains respect and affection for his ex-wife: "I wish her a bright future, especially for our children. They deserve to grow up in a peaceful and loving environment."
