A gang of criminals broke into Rosario Fiorello's villa on Via della Camilluccia at night, after disabling the alarm. Italian media report that they stole jewelry and watches worth over 300,000 euros. Among the stolen goods were gold jewelry, exclusive pendants, precious stones and several wristwatches. From initial information, the gang likely planned everything down to the smallest detail. The thieves entered the house through a window.
Once inside, they searched every room and looted everything, searching for valuables. Police and forensic experts are investigating the case. According to the latter, there is currently no evidence to identify the perpetrators of the theft.
Initial speculation suggests the bandits may have used latex gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints. Fiorello's family was out of town when the incident occurred. The housekeeper, who had keys to the house, reportedly notified police.
