Justin Timberlake forced Britney Spears to abort their child when they were dating

Britney Spears' high school boyfriend Donald Reg Jones has defended the star over her past with Justin Timberlake.

Speaking to The Post newspaper, he criticized the singer for forcing Spears to have an abortion during their relationship from 1999 to 2002.

Jones said any man who asks a woman to have an abortion is "a piece of m***" who doesn't respect her wishes. "Is it possible for a man to ask a woman to have an abortion?", he emphasizes.

After all, Spears stated in her memoir that she would have kept the baby if it was her choice. She even expressed her love for Justin Timberlake and the expectation she had then, that they would start a family together.

However, he was reportedly unhappy with the pregnancy and convinced Spears not to carry the child. Spears and Jones dated from 1996 to 1998. Despite the years that have passed, Jones expressed regret that Spears left her life in Mississippi for Hollywood.

He believed that deep down the singer wanted a normal life and to continue the relationship with him for a long time, instead of pursuing a career in the music industry.
