Eneda Tarifa shared candid moments from her personal life in an interview, showing that she has gone through difficult emotional periods, including a mild phase of depression, which she did not immediately understand.
"There was a period when I realized later that I had gone through depression. I didn't know it at the time, but the signs and symptoms I was experiencing were related to depression. It wasn't a severe depression, but still a complicated phase for me. I have also had moments of anxiety, thoughts that make you ask 'why am I here, why do I exist,' or fear for life. But I believe that these are feelings that every person can experience at certain moments," the singer confessed.
However, Eneda admitted that she has never gone to a psychologist, even though she thought about it several times:
"I tried several times to go. I left appointments, but I always changed my mind at the last moment. I have not been ready to accept that someone else can hear what I have inside of me. Maybe it's a feeling related to our mentality, because in Albania there is still a kind of taboo to seek psychological help," she said.
Although she herself has not attended professional therapy, Eneda emphasized its importance for those who feel in need:
"Whoever needs a psychologist should definitely go. I myself have gone through many of these moments through music, which has been my form of therapy.”
